Lisa Reyes has over 22 years serving as a victim-witness counselor with the Austin Police Department, Victim Services Division.  Reyes previously served as Co-chair of the Austin/Travis County Family Violence Task Force and has consulted for the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP).  She has served multiple legislative sessions as a subject matter expert for the Texas Council on Family Violence, with their Public Policy Committee and is also a faculty member for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Texas Victim Assistance Training Academy. Reyes is TCOLE instructor certified, and has trained advocates and law enforcement officers across the country.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a specialization in Law Enforcement, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas State. Reyes is currently in her final year of graduate school at Texas State working on a masters degree in social work.
