Nicole Roy
Inspired by her conversation with an incarcerated man at the Louisiana State Penitentiary in 2016, Nicole has pursued youth advocacy work in different forms ever since. Nicole graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2021 with a B.S. in Chemistry and a B.A. in the Plan II Honors Program, an interdisciplinary arts and sciences program. Shortly after graduation, Nicole returned to UT to teach a variety of chemistry labs and lecture courses. As an LSJA intern, she hopes to bridge the gap between law and science by developing a database of expert opinions on how victimization impacts youth development. Nicole enjoys reading, eating good food, and relaxing on the lake.
